Members of the field hockey team celebrate after scoring a goalThe field hockey team has earned a spot on the 2013 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Team Award list. The award recognizes institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year.

Katelyn Arnold ’17 (Coopersburg, Pa.), Aliza Furneaux ’17 (Factoryville, Pa.), economics major Kristin Heaney ’14 (Allendale, N.J.), international affairs major Haley Keenan ’14 (Doylestown, Pa.), art major Jenna Seybert ’15 (Lansdale, Pa.), and Casey White ’17 (Elkridge, Md.) were named to the 2013 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. To be recognized, individuals must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.30. Arnold, Furneaux, and White were also named Scholars of Distinction for earning at least a 3.90 GPA in the fall.
