Emily Homan ’15 (left) was named to the first-team All-Patriot League team, the league announced Tuesday morning.

The women’s and men’s basketball teams host first-round games in the Patriot League Tournament today and tomorrow, respectively.

The women, seeded eighth in the tournament, will play the ninth-seeded Loyola Greyhounds 7 p.m. today at Kirby Sports Center. The Lady Leopards finished the regular season with a 6-12 mark in league play.

Men's basketball player Dan Trist dribbles the ball while defended by a Boston University player

Dan Trist ’15 led the Patriot League in scoring in the regular season at 17.7 points per game and was one of two unanimous All-Patriot League First-Team selections when the league’s major awards were announced Monday.

The fourth-seeded men will play fifth-seeded Boston University 7 p.m. Thursday. The Leopards earned the home game with a 74-64 victory over Army Saturday.  The team has never lost a Patriot League Tournament game at home, going 8-0 all-time in Easton.
