Lafayette will grant 591 degrees to 568 members of the Class of 2016 during the College’s 181st Commencement this Saturday.

The ceremony will be streamed live and complete coverage will be on the Lafayette website over the weekend. Follow the ceremony and post your own images at #LafGrad on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Commencement will feature an address by William D. Adams, chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, as well as farewell remarks from President Alison Byerly and Pepper Prize Winner Guilherme Ferreira de Avila ’16.

The program will start at 2:30 p.m., following the academic procession at 2:15 p.m. The annual Baccalaureate service will be held at 10:30 a.m.

The Baccalaureate service and Commencement exercises are scheduled to be held on the Quad. In case of rain, one or both ceremonies may be held in Allan P. Kirby Sports Center. If there is a change in the location for either ceremony based on the weather, that information will be available by calling (610) 330-5809.
