Making Art Out of Paper

Students and faculty got to try out their paper-cutting skills during a workshop hosted by the foreign languages and literatures department. Ying Liang, Fulbright teaching assistant, served as the instructor for the ancient Chinese folk art.

    It has been a pleasure to host Fulbright TA Ying Liang in the Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures. Whether we’re talking about Chinese music, poetry, calligraphy or paper cutting, Ying brings a wealth of knowledge on Chinese language and culture, and she shares that knowledge at every opportunity!
