At Lafayette, March 9 has been a day of celebration and reflection on the College’s 191-year-old legacy.

This year, Founders’ Day has taken on new meaning. One that looks forward to a Lafayette that is a little bigger, more diverse, and more affordable, and that maintains our values of providing an undergraduate-focused liberal arts education.

Our Wine 3/9 toast earlier this month served as a kick-off for The President’s Challenge for Financial Aid. The challenge’s goal is to allow us to admit the most qualified students regardless of their financial need. The kick-off was a rousing success. We raised $1,229,294 in one day from 1,132 donors. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

We also had 578 alumni, parents, and friends take the Wine 3/9 toast at 34 locations around the world.  Here are some images of the celebrations.
