Robert Young '14 speaks at the exhibit opening reception.

Robert Young ’14

Robert Young ’14 was named associate director of annual and leadership giving and will return to campus Sept. 5. In his new job he will be responsible for managing and leading the strategic efforts of the leadership giving officers and assisting with various volunteer and affinity programs.

For the past 15 months, Young served as associate director of annual giving and director of Camel Athletics Club for Connecticut College. Before that, he worked as assistant director for young alumni and affinity groups at Lafayette, successfully creating and executing numerous programs and developing countless relationships with alumni, students, and campus partners.

Young says he’s excited to “hit the ground running” in his new role.

“Knowing Lafayette so well, I’m ready to come back and help it reach the next level under the leadership of Chad Davis,” senior director of annual and leadership giving, says Young, a member of Posse who earned a bachelor’s degree with majors in film and media studies and women and gender studies. “I joke with everybody that my first day won’t be my first day. Being a Leopard and a member of the community never goes away.”
