Bob Weiner, Jones Professor of History and Jewish chaplain, is scheduled to appear on “Lehigh Valley Discourse” Thursday at 6 p.m. on WDIY 88.1 FM, the Lehigh Valley’s NPR affiliate.

The focus is World War II. Why does that period of our history continue to draw our attention? How did countries get into this war? What was the role of the Great Depression? Weiner and host John Pierce discuss these and other topics in the one-hour program.
