Former Provost Abu Rizvi co-authors a piece for Inside Higher Ed about how colleges and universities have led the way in the nation’s response to COVID-19.

Rizvi and co-author Peter Eckel write that institutions of higher learning took important actions to promote societal health and safety by switching to remote learning and canceling in-person events.

They write that there are additional actions that schools can take to guide others through this crisis, including advancing their expertise, sharing spaces, and supporting community needs.
