Lafayette College is featured in a PBS39 segment about how local colleges are preparing for the fall semester while taking health and safety precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As we’ve been planning, we are thinking first and foremost about the safety of the community and how we create new and different experiences for students to learn and make connections in an environment that is still COVID conscious,” said Annette Diorio, vice president of Campus Life. “We don’t anticipate a vaccine, we don’t anticipate really great treatment options being available, so we still need to manage our environment in a way that is aware of the disease.”

The segment also covers Lehigh University and Moravian College’s fall preparations.
