Early on a summer day, Lisa Miskelly, assistant director of food and farm, harvests produce at LaFarm, the College’s three-acre community garden and student farm. Four Vegetables in the Community interns, a student volunteer, and five students employed as farmers, including Teni Bakare ’23, helped keep LaFarm running this summer. Miskelly and students are working to harvest produce, remove weeds, and prepare for fall planting—while maintaining safe distancing guidelines.
