Director of athletics honored for significant contributions and excellence
Director of athletics Sherryta Freeman has been named a 2020 Nike Administrator of the Year by Women Leaders in College Sports.
Women Leaders in College Sports is a nationally recognized collegiate professional membership organization whose mission is to develop, connect, and advance women leaders working in intercollegiate athletics. The organization promotes the growth, leadership, and success of women as athletics administrators, conference commissioners, professional staff, coaches, and student-athletes.
The Administrator of the Year Award honors senior-level administrators who have made significant contributions to intercollegiate athletics.
