Assistant professor of English reads work and discusses Asian-American poetry

Megan Fernandes
Megan Fernandes, assistant professor of English and writer-in-residence, joined three other notable poets to discuss Asian-American poetics and the role of poetry in our tumultuous times on The New Yorker Poetry Podcast.
Fernandes, a finalist for the Kundiman Book Prize and the Saturnalia Book Prize, published a poetry collection, Good Boys, in 2020.
On the podcast, Fernandes read “Shanghai,” a poem that was published by The New Yorker in 2020.
