Krishna Memani

Lafayette College’s Chief Investment Officer Krishna Memani commented on the S&P 500 posting it’s longest run of all-time highs since 1997 with Bloomberg.

Prior taking his position with the College in 2020, Memani served as vice chairman of investments at Invesco. Memani joined Invesco when the firm combined with OppenheimerFunds in 2019, where he was chief investment officer. 

“Things are opening up quite nicely and that’s what the equity markets are reacting to—the S&P 500 is making new highs every day,” Memani shared. Fed policy makers “want to wait and see how things are going to open up and the payrolls data from that perspective basically reinforces their thinking.”
