WFMZ-TV interviewed three Lafayette students who have personal connections to the war in Ukraine
WFMZ-TV visited campus to talk with three Lafayette College students who have ties with Ukraine and Russia and are coping with the emotional stress of the violent conflict impacting their hometowns and loved ones.
Max Turkot ’23, who is from Ukraine, and Reni Mokrii ’25 and Vladimir Barshchuk ’22, who are both from Russia, very bravely spoke on camera to share their perspectives with the local viewing community. The three students expressed gratitude for the support they have received from faculty, staff, and their fellow students at the College.
