Lafayette Activities Forum surprised students with free tethered hot air balloon rides and an ice-cream truck on Quad. “The event was an idea to offer students a little break as this is a tense time right before finals,” says Melissa Dalrymple, associate director of student involvement. “Students went up in groups of five, and the company estimated that they took about 48 trips in the two hours they were here.”
