Emily Mackin speaks to WFMZ, her name in a graphic across the bottom of the screenWFMZ-TV and The Morning Call covered a reproductive rights rally held in Easton, where Lafayette students Sophie Himmel ’24 and Emily Mackin ’24 expressed their views.

The rally was held in response to a leaked draft of a Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe V. Wade. If that draft is ultimately approved, it would mean women would no longer be guaranteed the federal legal right to an abortion, leaving it to each state to decide whether to restrict or ban abortion.
