Lafayette Movies on the Quad logoUpdate: Due to expected thunderstorms, Lafayette Movies on the Quad will be postponed and is now scheduled for July 13 at 8:30 p.m.

On July 12, Lafayette College will kick off Lafayette Movies on the Quad, a summer series of free film screenings that are open to the public.

Easton and surrounding community members of all ages are invited to enjoy watching box office hits on the big screen while munching on popcorn—for free—on Lafayette’s beautiful Quad on select dates through the summer. All you have to bring is a comfortable seat (picnic blankets and folding chairs are recommended) and your favorite movie-friendly snacks.

The series starts off with the screening of Spider-Man: No Way Home on July 12 at 8 p.m. on Lafayette’s College Drive.

Water also will be provided at the event (please note that alcohol is not permitted), and attendees are welcome to park their vehicles at any of Lafayette’s parking lots at no charge.

The event—which is organized by the College’s Division of Campus Life, Lafayette College Athletics, and the President’s Office—is an exciting part of President Nicole Farmer Hurd’s initiative to bring Lafayette and Easton together as one.

Be sure to check out Lafayette’s Events Calendar for a regularly updated schedule of this summer’s upcoming screenings.
