I study: “I study immigration, race, and political participation in the context of American politics.” 

Why? “I am interested in understanding how to increase the political participation of immigrants of color. Everyone’s voice should be heard in American democracy.”

This fall I’m teaching: GOVT101: Introduction to United States Politics

What students can expect of me: “Students can expect me to provide intriguing and challenging classes as well as a welcoming learning environment.”

I’m excited to be here because: “I am excited to discuss contemporary political issues with students and to continue my research.”
