Lafayette’s chief investment officer, Krishna Memani, was interviewed on BQ Prime, an Indian business and financial news organization, about the credit crisis at Credit Suisse and the overall troubles facing banks and global markets.
“This is not a global financial crisis,” Memani, former vice chairman of investments at Invesco, told a BQ Prime host during the 20-minute segment. He noted that the current financial situation is not on the same scale or even comparable to the global financial crisis in 2008 and 2009.
