The Lafayette College community came together to celebrate Extravaganza Week April 17-22. The weeklong festival, hosted by the International Students Association (ISA), featured a range of events, including a fashion show, international poetry night, World Cup competition, food tasting, and grand finale. Each event was designed to showcase the unique traditions and customs of different countries.

“The students within our international community make so many important contributions to Lafayette in the classroom, through their relationships around campus and leadership in extracurricular activities, and of course through the incredible cultural and educational programming that they offer through ISA all year long,” shares Janine Block ’94, assistant director of intercultural development. “Extravaganza Week is an amazing showcase of the various cultures that they represent and which bring an added beauty to our campus. I am particularly proud of the superb leadership of ISA president Yazdan Basir ’23, co-vice presidents Katelin Seber ’23 and Sidharth Chaggar ’23, as well as the rest of the board.”
