A Lafayette student tutors an elementary aged student at Easton Area Community Center. Each Monday during the fall 2023 semester, six Lafayette students volunteer 4-6 p.m. at Easton Area Community Center and work with Easton area children ages 5-12.

Volunteers provide mentorship and tutoring, play games, and work on arts and crafts with the children. Shreya Suresh ’25, program coordinator, also leads wellness activities (breath work, meditation, yoga) to help the children understand and cope with their emotions.

It’s one of Landis Center’s MOSAIC (Making Our Society an Inclusive Community) programs, one of 11 civic leadership initiatives coordinated by student leaders alongside Easton community partners.
