Lafayette community celebrates Founders’ Day

Students, faculty, and staff celebrated Founders’ Day on campus on March 7.

Farinon College Center was buzzing with activity on March 7 as the on-campus community celebrated the College’s founding. Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed Lafayette-themed ice cream flavors from Owowcow, including “Marquis Marshmallow” and “The Gilbert” as well as Founders’ Day cookies and giveaways. During the event, students also hand-wrote thank you notes, which will be distributed to supporters for their gifts to the College.

Meanwhile, at 27 Wine 3/9 events across the country and around the world, more than 550 alumni celebrated the College’s founding.
