Ken Burns, assistant director of residence life, was quoted in a May 28 article in Insight Into Diversity magazine about LGBTQIA+ housing on college and university campuses.

About a third of the article is devoted to Lavender Lane, Lafayette’s fully gender-neutral, gender-inclusive residence hall. Burns describes its self-governance and autonomy as reasons for its success.
