Lafayette celebrates faculty members newly named to endowed positions
Named chairs and professorships are the highest honors bestowed upon faculty members, acknowledging their contributions to teaching and research. Recently, three faculty members were newly named to endowed positions:
“Faculty at every stage of their careers at Lafayette shine in their contributions to teaching, scholarship, and research, both on campus and across their fields globally,” says Provost Laura McGrane. “Professors Kelleher, Galloway, and Giovannelli embody the strengths of our academic program at the assistant, associate, and full professor levels. Their work ranges across the humanities, sciences, and engineering, engaging students in classrooms and labs, as well as in our interim global programs. Their research has implications for our understanding of atmospheric conditions, water quality, and how we experience art. We are thrilled to honor them and grateful for all that they do.”
