Two-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Maggie Rose, known for her hit single “Poison In My Well” and multiple albums, has been announced as the entertainment for Lafayette College’s Reunion Weekend.

The performance, open to Lafayette alumni and guests who are attending Reunion, will occur Saturday, June 6 on the Quad. Rose will lead a memorable night full of music, dancing, snacks, and mingling with classmates. Access to the performance will be included as part of Reunion registration

“This is such an exciting time for our Lafayette College alumni. The Bicentennial is in full swing, and there is no better time to come home than for our 2026 Reunion celebration,” says Mary Neuenschwander, senior director of alumni engagement. “We are thrilled that Maggie Rose is our headline entertainer, and also for her connection back to Lafayette College.”

Rose’s bandmate, Judd Fuller ’83, is a Lafayette alumnus, Neuenschwander says.

Rose, a fixture at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry with over 100 performances on the legendary stage, has brought her talents to the Lehigh Valley before. In 2019, Rose opened for Kelly Clarkson at Allentown’s PPL Center, after guest-starring on CAT Country radio in 2010. Rose’s unique mix of soul and country music influences has led to success across genres, including collaborations and performances with Vince Gill, My Morning Jacket, Grace Potter, and Tedeschi Trucks Band, among others. Rose will be on tour this summer with Chris Stapleton, Lake Street Dive, and Melissa Etheridge.

The 2026 Reunion Weekend will be celebrated from June 5 to June 7. Alumni returning to campus can look forward to engaging with special Bicentennial exhibitions, indulging in food, cocktails, and more on the Quad, open houses, and special decade-specific events. Though Reunion is open to all class years, milestone classes include years ending in 1 or 6, the Class of 2025, and all members of the 50+ Club.

About Maggie Rose

Two-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Maggie Rose continues to win over fans and critics alike. Her latest album, Half Moon, reveals the rare magic of hard-won momentum meeting a creative spirit in peak bloom. After devoting more than a decade to deepening her craft and unlocking the full force of her extraordinary voice, the Nashville-based singer/songwriter experienced a rapid rise in recognition, including scoring back-to-back Grammy nominations for her 2024 LP No One Gets Out Alive and 2025 single “Poison In My Well” and earning an Emerging Act of the Year nod from the Americana Music Association in 2025. Rather than succumbing to the pressure of heightened expectation, Rose immersed herself in the making of her new album with effusive abandon. With its lovely alchemy of timeless R&B and soulful symphonic pop, Half Moon arrives as a document of divine expansion and self-discovery—ultimately extending an invitation to embrace every facet of ourselves with grace, courage, and a wide-open heart. Co-produced by Lawrence Rothman (Amanda Shires, Margo Price) and Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Leon Bridges), Half Moon unfolds with both sophisticated ease and daring grandiosity—a direct reflection of Rose’s newly widened emotional world. It is a gorgeous showcase for the vocal prowess that’s found her hailed as one of the finest singers in Nashville, spotlighting an artist in total command of her inimitable voice.

A respected fixture of the Nashville community, Rose has played the iconic Grand Ole Opry over 100 times. A true road warrior, she has shared the stage with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Dave Matthews Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Heart, Joan Jett, Eric Church, and Gov’t Mule, among others. 2026 will see Rose on the road with Chris Stapleton, Lake Street Dive, Melissa Etheridge, Wynonna Judd, Molly Tuttle, and festival appearances across the country.
