Courage was a common theme heard at Lafayette College’s 190th Commencement ceremony Sat., May 24, as more than 650 graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas.

During the ceremony, honorary degrees were presented to author and filmmaker MK Asante ’04, retired ProJeCt of Easton CEO Janice D. Komisor, and Lt. Gen. Stuart W. Risch ’84 of the United States Army.

Asante—a bestselling author, award-winning filmmaker, recording artist, and distinguished professor who the Los Angeles Times calls “One of America’s best storytellers”—delivered the keynote address. Pepper Prize recipient Tyler Roberts ’25 also gave an address to his fellow students.
