The Landis Community Outreach Center hosts dozens of programs and organizations dedicated to helping local, national, and international communities.  Students can participate in one-time service opportunities, co-curricular service-learning programs that run on a weekly basis, and through an academic course with an integrated service component.

Volunteer opportunities include Hunger and Homelessness Week, America Reads America Counts, Make a Difference Day, Best Buddies, Literacy Day, Kids in the Community, Pre-Orientation Service Program, Lafapalooza: Lafayette’s National Day of Service, and many others.

Through Alternative School Break Club, students have taken service trips to Nicaragua, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Tennessee, South Carolina, the Gulf Coast, and many other locations.
