Students, faculty, staff, and members of the Lehigh Valley Alumni Association chapter helped Easton community organizations during Lafapalooza ’14: Lafayette’s National Day of Service. On April 26, students volunteered for projects benefiting Children’s Home of Easton, Easton Area Neighborhood Center, Easton Health and Rehabilitation Center, Easton Main Street Initiative, Easton Urban Farm, Firth Youth Center, Karl Stirner Arts Trail, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Safe Harbor shelter, Third Street Alliance, and the YMCA. These were organized by the College’s Landis Community Outreach Center.
