In this heartwarming video, we meet Early Decision II applicant Amaree King, a senior at Duncanville High School in Texas. President Nicole Farmer Hurd surprised King to welcome her to the Lafayette Class of 2026.
It was a full-circle moment; Duncanville High School is one of many schools that works with an advisor from the College Advising Corps—the organization President Hurd founded before joining Lafayette.
President Hurd is excited to welcome King and other students who are joining the Class of 2026 to the Layette community.
