Lafayette College is pleased to celebrate the promotion and tenure, effective the start of the fall semester, of eight faculty members. This process involves significant work on the part of each faculty member, as well as the support of colleagues and staff who provide guidance and manage many of the logistics through each stage of the promotion and tenure cycle.

“Earning tenure is a signature milestone of an academic career that recognizes and requires an extensive record of extraordinary dedication and creativity in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service to the academic community,” says Provost John Meier. “Tenure decisions are not exclusively based on prior productivity and accomplishment. Anyone who earned tenure has also provided evidence of great promise for continued excellence.”
