Lafayette is welcoming a record 17 new tenure-track and 16 visiting faculty this academic year.
Seven of our tenure-track hires are in STEM fields; six of those seven are women. Overall, Lafayette is adding 40 new faculty positions over an eight-year period. This is a key component of a strategic plan that will enable the College to admit students regardless of their ability to pay, while growing the size of the student body and faculty to enhance our already strong student-faculty interaction and our distinctive integration of disciplines.
